Tangy Vinegar Coleslaw Recipe for Fresh Salads

Cabbage salad without mayonnaise with sweet-spicy vinegar sauce!

Cabbage salad is one of my favorite salads/side dishes/condiments in the summer, and although I usually prefer a creamy cabbage salad with mayonnaise dressing, this vinegar-based cabbage salad is a great alternative! The core of this cabbage salad is grated cabbage with a small amount of carrots, and the dressing is a simple combination of oil, sour vinegar, sweet sugar, spicy mustard and salt. This cabbage salad is as easy to make as it looks; just drizzle the cabbage and carrots with vinegar sauce and enjoy! I like the cabbage salad as a salad, side dish and especially as a seasoning for a sandwich with something like beef barbecue (pictured)!
